Biólogo, se apaixonou pelos muriquis 18 anos atrás. Desde então trabalha pela conservação desta espécie ameaçada. Na Serra do Brigadeiro, pesquisou a fundo um dos grupos de muriquis, trabalho com o qual concluiu o mestrado em biologia animal pela UFV. Montanhista, escalador e filmmaker, criou e coordena o projeto Montanhas dos Muriquis. Viajou pela Amazônia, onde também coordena o campo de projetos na FLONA Saracá-Taquera. Em casa, no sítio que cuida e chama de Lar dos Muriquis, realiza testes com bioconstrução, agroflorestas, turismo de montanha e produções sustentáveis.

Biólogo formado pela FAVALE/UEMG Carangola, possui experiência em trabalhos de campo e pesquisas com primatas, com passagens pela Amazônia e algumas importantes áreas da Mata Atlântica. É vizinho e ex-funcionário do Parque Estadual Serra do Brigadeiro, onde também se dedica ao turismo e integração comunitária local.

Saiu de São Paulo e adentrou nas montanhas de Minas, onde se envolveu em projetos ambientais e sociais. Possui graduação em Comunicação Social – Publicidade e Propaganda pela Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing (2013). É Mestre em Ecologia e Recursos Naturais pela UENF – Campos dos Goytacazes (RJ). Atualmente, faz licenciatura em Geografia na UNOPAR.

Geógrafo, trabalha com a relação solos e ambientes, com foco na função ecológica dos solos. Se concentra em ambientes de montanha tropical, desérticos, de alta montanha e polares. Busca contribuir pra a compreensão de ambientes pouco conhecidos, adotando uma visão integrada dos fatores do meio físico, e suas relações com os demais fatores do meio ambiente.

Biólogo, doutorando em ecologia e interesse no uso de novas tecnologias para a conservação de mamíferos, especialmente drones e armadilhas fotográficas no chão e no dossel da floresta. É voluntário no Caminho da Mata Atlântica, iniciativa que está criando uma trilha com mais de 4.000 km ao longo de toda a cadeia de montanhas da Serra do Mar.
